Music Festival in Alhambra
April 25, 2008
Children that were selected to represent their own school practising, before the show. There were 13 schools from the district that participated in this event. One thing I really have to give my bundle a lot of credit for is that, this is the first year he joined the public school and found himself very popular in the classroom. Matt practised on the side with his buddies from his own school. My bundle is the one standing to the right and that is 3/4 upright bass. A close up look of my bundle. Him with the whole thing on the stage just before the show started.
It was amazing to see how they come together and formed one big group. I know my bundle took pride of this event and for sure each and every child felt the same way.
I was just amazed by all of them.
Since he was 4 years old he attended the Montessori School and finished his grade 3 there. I remember being so worried at the beggining of the school year
thinking 'are we doing this right'. I bet a lot of parents are like me, have fears and wanted to shield our children from being influenced of the wrong crowd. But we had put all
our faith that whatever happens throughtout the year, we will be there for him. And I can't believe the school is almost over and he is really having a blast being there.
Infact he don't want the school to end, and that really gives me a good feeling. I now sortof know what type of person he is: something like a clown..LOL..
I know, he don't have that big rounded red nose..LOL. He is very playful when around his peers. Sensitive and very respectful of others feelings and I am proud of that. I can only hope
he stays the way he is but I know he will change just like every other kid while they are growing.
Cello on the left side sitting and in the middle is Violin.

That is what I carry in and out of the auditorium every morning of mondays and Wednesdays. The class takes 45 minutes of lessons.
